Taking clubs in the UK and Ireland by storm, the entertaining and charismatic DJ Abrantee sold out his Afrobeats Tour in the past few months. Now with a mixtape under his belt, surely no one can stop Choice FM’s Golden Boy. Best known for his Drive Time show 6 days a week on Choice FM, DJ Abrantee’s addition of the Afrobeats set has certainly boosted his popularity.

Launched in April 2011, the Saturday night Afrobeats set was an exciting addition to Choice FM. Receiving worldwide acknowledgement from fans and celebrities such as Asamoah Gyan and Emmanuel Frimpong, the show became a popular trend on twitter with the masses making sure the show was here to stay.  On every Saturday from midnight to 2am, the show plays a wide selection of afro beats featuring today’s artists as well hits from  years ago. With a huge number of international artists requesting Abrantee to host their concerts, DJ Abrantee’s popularity knows no end.

Featuring tracks from the UK and and Africa’s biggest Afrobeat artists, DJ Abrantee’s 32 track mixtape includes skits from artists such as Lethal B and Chipmunk. Certain to be played in the clubs Afrobeats set this mixtape will definitely still be on rotation in 2012.
