This week I’m profiling US brand Adriana Marie, an independent and urban brand which speaks to the UK market, run by an incredible entrepreneur.

Raised in South Florida, Adriana Marie always had aspirations of spearheading her own brand.  After having traveled quite a bit, the self-made entrepreneur found her home in New York City when she put everything in the past, took a chance and moved to the Big Apple with only a few dollars and bags of clothes.  She worked at fashion houses such as BCBG Max Azria, Christian Francis Roth, Tory Burch and Talbots.  After a few hard-learned life lessons she decided to start giving the knowledge back and created Adriana Marie Co, and we are so glad she did!

Adriana Marie Co. is dedicated to using fashion as a vehicle in generating individual personal awareness that creates a positive lifestyle.  Each collection features a series of inspirational quotes or motivational sayings that are accompanied with off beat and transcendent graphics.  They use elements of nature to create the abstract designs and elements of life for the messages.

The incredible thing about Adriana Marie is that for each product sold, AMco donates a portion of the proceeds to one of their affiliated non profit organisations, Dresses for Haiti, Nourishing NYC and We Care to Wear Pink.
